Shah Rukh Khan is going to celebrate his 60th Birthday, tomorrow. Celebrating his birthday, Netflix and YRF started streaming his classics from 1st November and they plan for many more classics, with selected special occasions in coming days.

 

In a landmark move for Indian cinema, global streaming giant Netflix has partnered with legendary production house Yash Raj Films (YRF) to bring a vast and iconic catalog of Bollywood classics to audiences worldwide. 


This strategic collaboration is set to roll out YRF's celebrated cinematic legacy in phases, marking special occasions and cinematic milestones.The streaming schedule kicks off with a massive tribute to superstar Shah Rukh Khan, with nine of his most memorable YRF films, including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Veer-Zaara, now available. 


This will be followed by other genre-defining titles, such as classic films like Chandni, Kabhi Kabhie, and the popular Dhoom trilogy. This partnership significantly deepens Netflix’s commitment to championing Indian storytelling on a global scale. 


YRF and Netflix partnership will allow viewers in over 190 countries to experience the colour, music, and magic of Bollywood's golden age. The deal solidifies the enduring relevance of YRF's half-century-long contribution to cinema, say experts.
